Overview

Darjeeling, the star attraction in West Bengal and the ‘queen of the hills’ in Northeast, gets its fame from its fairytale-like geographical setting, nestled amidst the endless emerald stretches of tea plantations. It wears the Kanchenjunga as its crown, proudly sitting like a queen since the era of the British. Apart from stunning sceneries, this former summer capital of the English also offers a riot of Himalayan cultures, exhibiting influences from the neighbouring states of Bhutan, Nepal, Tibet and Sikkim in its populace, architecture and cuisine. Darjeeling is brimming with many attractions including Buddhist monasteries, colonial mansions, red pandas, snow leopards, the UNESCO heritage Toy Train, etc. Come and explore the magic of Darjeeling and relish a burst of Himalayan flavours and cultures.
